Narrative

Laban attended Woodstock Academy and studied law with Judge Barnes of Tolland, Conn., and Edward Dickinson of Amherst, Mass., and became a lawyer. He was twenty times a member of the Mass. General Court and was a member of the Constitutional Convention in 1820 and in 1853. He lived in Greenwich fifty years.2
